Fufu or Akpu is a popular swallow food in West Africa.
Some call it African Santana . It is made from fresh or fermented cassava.
The traditional method of eating fufu is to wash your hands then take a marble sized ball of fufu in the right hand.
It’s typically served with various West African soups, such as bitterleaf soup, Oha soup , Nsala soup, vegetable soup, groundnut soup, okra soup or any soup of choice.
You then dip the ball in the soup you are eating; swallow the fufu.
