Return & refund policy

Please be aware that we will rigorously adhere to these policies, so please read all of our policies, terms, and conditions before placing your order.


Please be aware that only items that were delivered damaged on arrival can be returned by any of our customers. A customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs of the return to our warehouse, but the customer must provide a photo or video clearly demonstrating evidence of damage.

Upon delivery, African Market Dubai, which mostly deals in foodstuff, must be informed of any returns. For the returned goods to be accepted, we suggest customers inspect their packages upon receipt, especially the perishable items.

You will be emailed once your returned item has been received and inspected with information regarding the progress of your exchange request. This typically takes 5-7 working days from the day you send us the exchanged item(s).

Additionally, the customer has the right to cancel an order with three hours’ notice before it is shipped.
However, a customer is responsible for paying 40% of the total price if they choose to cancel a shipped order.

Exchanges will only be made if ALL of the following requirements are satisfied:

The goods are complete and sealed in their original condition.

Return items must be undamaged and in their original packing. The original packaging cannot be flawed or damaged.

African Market Dubai will not accept any item returned with obvious signs of damage and will not be able to accommodate defects caused by improper storage or care.

Only returns made through our delivery partners; Careem delivery, Yango delivery, banana express delivery, or Imepress Express are accepted.

The client is solely responsible for the return shipping costs.

Under no conditions may sales or discounted items be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
